Andrea and Attila started their journey during the COVID-19 pandemic in 2019 when they had to quit their jobs as tourist guides and find something else to be able to support their family. It was Andrea's long time dream to enter the wine industry and learn the craft of wine making.
They invested their savings into a small winery on Mencshely and started to create their very first items.
We were given detailed description what to incorporate on the labels. All the symbols (joint AA monogram, leaves & cluster of grapes, a traditional jar called kanta—hence the vinery's name—, tulip, lavender, all in the silhouette of Virgin Mary) play important roles in the life of the owners.
The assortment consists of four items: Cuvée, Müller-Thurgau, Rozé and Riesling.
